Our Purpose

At Boys to Men Tucson, we are working to break down the systemic barriers that fuel violence and limit the well-being of masculine-identified youth.  We prioritize BIPOC youth and other young people who are underrepresented, economically disadvantaged, and marginalized, ensuring they have equitable access to resources, mentorship, and opportunities for growth and healing.

We are dedicated to reducing violence at its root by fostering mental health equity, resilience, and healing-centered mentorship that empowers boys, men, and masculine-identified individuals to thrive in safe, supportive, and emotionally rich environments.

We envision a future where harmful societal norms around masculinity are dismantled, allowing masculine-identified people of all genders to express their full humanity without restriction.

We work to ensure that boys and masculine-identified youth have equitable access to safe, trusted, and emotionally healthy role models, both inside and outside of their homes and communities.

Through a commitment to social justice, restorative practices, and community-based healing, we actively challenge and disrupt the oppressive structures that perpetuate violence, including patriarchy, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism, and other systemic inequities.

By replacing harmful systems with supportive, transformative frameworks, we aim to reduce violence, strengthen communities, and create pathways for youth to heal, grow, and lead lives of purpose and possibility.
