Mentor Facilitation Training
Mentor Faciliation Trainings (MFT's) are held throughout the year. The training includes policy and procedure review, program overiew, mentor do's and donts, and an in-depth look into holding talking circles that are trauma informed. This two part series (4 hours each day) is typically held on the weekends but we are flexible and schedule them to meet the needs of the community.
Part One is informative/educational and includes participation in a talking circle. Part Two (for those who decide to mentor), incudes facilitation tips, mandatory reporting training, document review and signing (confidentiality and background check consent) and a review of program materials/data collection tools.
"This is one of the best trainings I have ever taken, not only did I learn about the program, but I was able to really self-reflect and share in a space that was safe"
